Yaro Oral (English: Someone Unknown) is a 1978 Malayalam film written and directed by Pavithran. It was his debut as a director. It introduced to Malayalam a genre of personal cinema, which is deliberately anti-realist. The film's music is composed by acclaimed film director G. Aravindan.

Malathi, a gynaecologist, is childless. To remedy this she divorces her husband and marries his friend Ravi. Some months after, she gives birth to an eight year old child. In the climax, she commits suicide and her husband dies shortly after her death. Meanwhile, it is shown that her former husband finds salvation in religion.[1]
